Dr. Dalal Katsiaficas
is a Cultural Developmental Psychologist who currently holds the position of Associate Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Syeda Raza, M.S.
Jennifer Juarez is a doctoral student in the Educational Psychology department at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC).
Haeyoon Chung
is a doctoral student in Educational Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her research interest focuses on immigrants’ ethnic identity development and their career development. She has several research experiences with diverse research methodology including quantitative research methodology such as Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and qualitative research methodology such as Consensual Qualitative Research (CQR).
Haeyoon has a master’s degree majoring in Counseling Psychology and previously worked as a licensed mental health counselor in South Korea.
David Fisher
is a doctoral student in Educational Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. Jennifer Juarez
received her PhD in Educational Psychology in 2022 at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her dissertation, “Here, They Get Me”: The Sense of Belonging Among Latina/o/x Undergraduate Students in Academic Success Programs, provides valuable insight into the positive development of Latina/o/x emerging adults.
Dr. Hanae Kim
received her Ph.D. in Literacy, Language, and Culture at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her research interests include Korean as a world language education, heritage language education, Korean language teacher preparation, out of school learning, significance of peer and parent support, and school community collaboration.
